HP Deskjet 712C Not Printing Properly
I have an HP JetDirect 300X printer server and an HP Deskjet 712C. Every time I print to the print server to the 712C, the printer starts printing the page fine but stops printing halfway through the page. Is there some settings/configuration I need to do to make the printer spool/print correctly?

I think HP also has two different carts: the lesser cost one has less ink and is around $35. The one with more ink is around $55 (color carts). You are not correct with respect to the #23 cartridges used in the DeskJet 712. The cartridge the original poster is using is the full capacity cartridge.

Need XP patch to make HP 712C printer work
My HP DeskJet 712C printer does not work in SuSE Linux 6.4. The printer is recognized in Linux as an "unknown" HP. Although I've tried to define it as several different lower models (the 712C does not appear in the list of supported printers), nothing at all happens when I try to print.
